Now as the UK's leading online retailer and the first choice for purchasing nail polish online, we are looking to expand our team. We have a variety of office based and warehouse based roles at Nail Polish Direct that are vital to the day to day running of our company. If you are a hard-working, motivated and talented individual who works well within a team, you could be the perfect fit for our roles that are currently available. Experience for each role is necessary, however we will provide training and mentoring during your probation period. Graphic Designer / Marketing Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, hard-working and motivated individual to join our marketing team at Nail Polish Direct. The role will involve a diverse range of graphic design work including setting branding guidelines, logo design, creating email marketing templates, working to create email marketing materials, social media campaign media, videography and more.
You will need an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premier Pro with at least 2+ years experience in a creative, graphic role. You must ideally have a graphic design degree or a qualification in a relevant creative subject. This is a hands on role where the successful applicant will have the ability to manage and create their own projects, developing existing websites and building the branding for new websites. You’ll need to be comfortable working in print, on digital campaigns, on web design, social media, email marketing and more.
You must be able to adapt well within a team, be able to come up with creative, modern and innovative marketing content and have a passion and interest in the nail, beauty and cosmetics industry. You must have extensive experience in social scheduling and social media management. You will be required to input your own ideas, research and knowledge into creating engaging, unique and tailored marketing materials for the company whilst working alongside our marketing team. You will be required to work with our media designers and independently to develop branded, custom content from webpage banners, email marketing content, photography, graphic work and social ads and more that embodies the look and feel of our companies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design graphic content such as company logo’s, email marketing templates and webpage banners.
  • Creating newsletters using Adobe design software and coming up with your own ideas for campaigns, e-shots and more.
  • Improving the company presence on social media and other online channels.
  • Creating branded content for commercial print.
  • Research into the beauty industry and how to make improvements.
  • Create engaging creative content such as videography, photography, social ads and more.
  • Lead marketing campaigns, social calendars and newsletters.
  • Competitor research and analysis to maximise marketing effectiveness.


Are you suitable for this role?

  • Minimum two years experience in a design role with a relevant creative qualification.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated and works well within a team.
  • Fully experienced in using the Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Advanced photography skills, photo editing skills and video editing experience.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Experience of working within a similar job role.
  • Experience leading design direction for digital projects.

You will need an in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro. You must have ideally a year’s experience in marketing and a qualification in a creative/marketing or relevant subject.

You must be able to adapt well within a team, be able to follow branding guidelines to create marketing content and have a passion and interest in the nail, beauty and cosmetics industry. The role will include an exciting variety of creative work including writing copy for blogs, creating video features for Youtube, social media scheduling for a multi-platform of businesses, designing newsletters and much more. You will be required to input your own ideas, research and knowledge into creating engaging, unique and tailored marketing materials for the company whilst working alongside our marketing team.

Warehouse Operative

Job Role

We are looking to employ a new Warehouse Operative to work in our energetic and fast-paced warehouse. Your duties will include selecting products from our android system and preparing orders for dispatch. You will be required to learn and understand the contents of a large Warehouse with a diverse product range and be fully computer literate. You will need to be proficient and particular in selecting, sorting and arranging stock with care. You will place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions and you will arrange stock. This includes the unpacking and checking of large deliveries.

 

 

Job Duties

  • Picking orders accurately from our android system.
  • You must be fully computer literate.
  • You will be required to create reports and book deliveries to replenish stock.
  • Understand and be able to determine the difference between a large range of inventory.
  • Assist in unpacking deliveries and arranging warehouse stock.
  • Ensuring all orders are picked with care and attention.
  • Maintaining tidiness and accuracy of product placement in bins and storage.
  • Working well and cooperate within a team.
  • Keeping records of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Taking regular and accurate stock takes of our inventory.


Job Role Requirements


In order to become a Warehouse Operative at Nail Polish Direct, you
will need to perform to a high level of accuracy and carry out your job with energy and a fast pace. You will pick a large range of products throughout the day so you will be required to perform a manual job and do this with care and accuracy. A positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are character traits that are needed in this job role. You will also need to perform well under pressure and maintain consistent organisational skills.
