Would you like to join the Nail Polish Direct team? We are an independant beauty brand based in the Midlands, Loughborough who specialise in the distribution of salon professional nail polish. Now as the UK's leading online retailer and the first choice for purchasing nail polish online, we are looking to expand our team. We have a variety of office based and warehouse based roles at Nail Polish Direct that are vital to the day to day running of our company. If you are a hard-working, motivated and talented individual who works well within a team, you could be the perfect fit for our roles that are currently available. Experience for each role is necessary, however we will provide training and mentoring during your probation period. Please note that we do not currently have any oppurtunties to work remotely at this time.

Social Media Executive

Job Role


As a social media executive, your job role within the company requires you to manage and supervise all social media channels. You will be in charge of planning campaigns and creating content to sustain an engaging and innovative audience experience. You will be required to research, analyse and track social media trends that includes monitoring social media ad revenue in order to boost online presence. Your role will focus on optimising campaign efficiency and will require a creative and inventive mindset to create engaging social content. As part of your position within the company, you will be working with various departments in order to communicate and plan efficiently to promote overall brand growth through social media channels.

 

Job Duties

  • To manage and coordinate all company social media accounts.
  • Develop social content that is innovative, creative and engaging. Ensure all posts are tailored to our demographic and target audience.
  • Coordinate all social media messaging output with the team and relevant departments to project seamless ad campaigns. Manifest quarterly or seasonal goal plans and communicate ideas for social strategies.
  • Manage social media team members in the area of content creation and team coordination. You will be required to work alongside copyrighters, social media assistants and graphic designers to offer guidance and direction.
  • Carry out audits to analyse social media presence including the use of analytics to budget digital advertising costs and returns.
  • Analyse all campaigns on social media to track and monitor efficiency and performance. Utilise tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine areas where social activity and campaign plans can be improved.
  • Be responsible for interviewing, hiring and training social media team members.
  • Ensure all campaigns are developed accordingly to seasonal trends, new product releases, ad campaigns, brand messages and more. Work with team members from other departments to develop social media timelines and marketing calenders.
  • Develop regular reports on the monitoring of competitor activity within social media spaces.

 

Job Role Requirements


You will need a degree in Marketing, Social Media, Advertising or in a subject matter that is similar and relevant. Your role will require you to have an extensive knowledge of all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and other relevant platforms. Your role will be office based and you will need to be proficient with computer software and scheduling programs. You will ideally have a passion and understanding for marketing and advertising with a comprehensive understanding of content creation and maintaining and developing public relations. You will be required to have confident literate skills, both written and verbal, as you will be in charge of proof reading, editing and developing a variety of social content and marketing plans on a day to day basis. You must also have skills and understanding in the importance of customer service and satisfaction as well as key skills in time management and completing tasks efficiently.

Social Media Assistant

Job Role


As our Social Media Assistant, you will work closely with our social media manager to produce a variety of engaging content for our social media channels. Your role will focus on the development of our online presence and building our social profile. You will be creating and scheduling social content that is consistent and coherent with our brand as well as seeking out and researching new avenues of how to improve and build on our social presence. You will be responsible for connecting with our customer base in a range of innovative and creative ways. Your role will require a comprehensive understanding and passion for social media in the beauty industry, including confidence in your photography, videography and editing skills. You will be required to produce a diverse range of content using the Adobe creative suite as well as video tutorials, host live online events and more. For this role we require someone who is confident, creative, can work under strict time deadlines and works very well within a team.

 

Job Duties

  • Manage and schedule company social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and other relevant platforms.
  • Research and engage in the development of social media presence in a range of industries to apply and demonstrate skills that can be used to optimize online presence.
  • Create dynamic creative work that ranges from written, graphic, photographic and videographic content. This will include lifestyle and blog style imagery, high quality product imagery, video content including video blogs, tutorials and more.
  • Optimize social content through the use of search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC).
  • Create social content that promotes confidence building and interaction with our customer base and social audience.
  • Assist our Social Media Manager with large projects and events.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.
  • Analyse and report audience information and demographics, and evaluate the success of all existing social media projects.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Work with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy.
  • Create and schedule e-newsletters to subscribers.
  • Manage social media communications.
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize page views, social interaction, audience size and visits.

 

Job Role Requirements


You will need to have experience in marketing and relevent qualifications. A degree in Marketing, Social Media Marketing or in a subject matter that is similar and relevant is preferred. You will need to have confident skills in technology and content creation. You will be required to have a good understanding and experience in using the Adobe creative suite along with confident photographic, editing and videographic skills. You will also require the ability to produce, edit and understand marketing calenders including the ability to perform excellent campaign execution. You will need to be confident in content creation, networking and presenting your ideas clearly and openly. This job role suits a creative mindset with excellent attention to detail, including strong literate skills - both written and verbal. You will need to be able to understand, interperate and utilize information gathered from SEO and PPC. You will need strong customer service skills with an enthusiastic approach to your work.

Junior Copyrighter

Job Role


The role of Junior Copyrighter includes the development and assessment of a variety of informative content within the company. Your role will include discussing and meeting with our area managers to establish and project our core brand messages which will include the evaluation of website content, site performance and more. You will be required to familiarise yourself and become efficient and tuned into our target audience and our competitors activity within the market in order to optimize and improve our service and brand performance. You will need to become efficient in listing products, writing SEO content, managing all online content for our product range and ensuring all content is up to date and in line with search engine updates. You will also be responsible for creating our written blog content with an excellent attention to detail and article execution.

 

Job Duties

  • Meet with area managers to discuss requirements and core messages within copyright and written content creation.
  • Understand and reseach the different language styles that appeal to various target markets within the beauty industry.
  • Produce skilled writing in clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
  • Demonstrate good leadership skills as well as people and project management skills.
  • Evaluate all existing copy that features within the company and suggest ways to modify copy in order to improve our brand performance.
  • Develop a mature and extensive knowledge of products within the beauty industry in order to optimize all product descriptions and advertising material.
  • Research and adapt ways in which to improve written content within the company.
  • Work within strict time deadlines, budget restrictions and company guidelines.


Job Role Requirements


As our Junior Copyrighter, you must posess a high level of understanding and relevent qualifications in english language and literacy skills. It is preferred that you have experience and understanding in SEO content and be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team and with a range of creative people. You must feel comfortable with managaing your workload effectively and be able to work well under pressure to complete tasks. You are required to be a highly self-motivated and well organised individual that has a good eye for detail and can take on constructive critisism and feedback.
