I have used Opi and a number of others for many years and am generally lucky if I make 2-3 days without my nails needing replacing/getting chipped - should stress I am heavy on nails spending 8 hours+ every day tapping away at a computer, cleaning/doing outside jobs etc - basically my hands take a lot of punishment. I was at the point of switching to gel nails but did not want to invest the time in regular application/removal or be restricted to one colour for 2+ weeks, so did some research and decided to try CND Vinylux. How pleased I am.
Firstly, nailpolishdirect charges an excellent price (making it cheaper than Opi and many others - although I was happy to pay more in search of a longer wearing nail polish that could be easily be removed with nail polish remover); has an easy to use website and delivered very quickly.
The Product - I have bought two colours but only used Berry Boudoir so far as I love it so much. Used for a couple of weeks so given it a good try. Firstly, the brush allows you to easily and neatly apply the nail varnish - possibly one of the best i have used for application. The colour is fab (don't go by CND site which shows it as a lighter more cerise colour, it is dark plumb as shown on nailpolishdirect site and images on Google) and each time I have used it, it has stayed on for a week (even punishing it with my usual routine!). I do need 3 coats to get a good even finish but each coat glides on and drys very quickly (tip - when you apply, make sure you coat the ends of your nails on each application to stop them chipping/flaking). I then used the Vinylux long lasting top coat and there they were, beautiful glossy nails that gave me a week of pleasure. The polish also dried more quickly than others I have used. I did reapply the topcoat mid way through the week which made them look like new again. Can't wait to try some more colours & would highly recommend to anyone who does not have the time, budget or want the restrictions of wearing the same colour for 2 weeks.
