It does what is says on the label. Seems a fine base coat.

This basecoat really smooths out any ridges in preparation for polish. Would highly recommend it, plus any Zoya product

My nail varnish did stay on longer without chipping despite my washing up by hand so I was really pleased. Early days to comment about the strengthening aspect.

Goes on easily, not sure yet if its strengthening but early days yet

Am now addicted to this brand and just trying the top coat.
