This is genuinely a product I have been hoping for for a very long time. It looks fantastic, doesn't chip, is easy to apply, lasts a very long time and - the most amazing thing for me - doesn't peel off on its own and yet is super easy to peel off when you want it to. I have no idea how they managed to achieve this but it is everything I wanted in a nail polish-type product.

I have been having gel nails done for years now & cos of the expense, started doing them myself with Sensationail. However the removal has been disastrous to my nails, no matter what I've tried. (Thinning/peeling/weak). Read about Striplac on a forum a couple of years ago but it's been really hard to get hold of in the UK. When I saw NPD were stocking it I was thrilled. I also read this product can be used with other lamps & gel colours so as I still have my stuff I thought I'd give it a bash. I only managed to get a week out of my manicure before it started peeling at the edges but I don't mind as I wasn't using the recommended colours or lamp. I also like to alternate weekly too, with OPI Nail Envy to give my nails a boost. I have asked for the official Striplac kit for my birthday; it's too expensive for me. My nails were a little dry after peeling off but fine after some Solar Oil & hand cream. The whole nail coverings came of easily in big lumps & I personally did not need the activator; which I also bought. (Perhaps if I used the whole kit I might).

I live in New Zealand and orderd this product for a friend to bring me as my Christmas treat. Order supposed to be dispatch 27 Nov, but my friend informed me on 9 Dec that the product had not arrived. I had been too busy working and travelling and had not thought about following up after 3-5 work days. I'm sure the quality would be excellent but sadly won't get to try it. We can't get it in NZ :-(

I have fallen in love with these nail products - I've tried many different gel varnishes over the years and this are without the best. The colours are strong and once applied are pretty much bullet-proof.I've never been able to make gel varnish last two weeks, regardless of whether I applied it myself or had it done at a salon, but this stuff - I only have to take it off when there is too much growth showing near the cuticle! Then it peels off easily with no damage.I can't see any downside to this range, I love it!!

This is just what my nails needed, no more soak off in that harsh acetone, just peels off when I'm ready :)

Using the Striplac system for about 12 months and very impressed with durability, ease of use and removal..Kinder to nails than soak of gels.
