Product Reviews for Stop Discourages Nail Biting and Thumb Sucking 5ml

Good

It arrived today. Applied it this morning and I’ve tried to bite my nails three times since. The taste is sickening. It’s horrible but is definitely working so far.

It didn't work for my daughter

Easy to apply and dries quickly, but it didn't work for my daughter - she seems to be immune to the nastiest of tastes and after a couple of days, was back to sucking her thumb.

Amazing

Bought this for my daughter who has been sucking her thumb for 51/2 yrs. I put this on her thumbs as directed and 3 weeks later she has stopped sucking her thumb! She hated the taste of it. Seriously recommend this product and you will hardly use any of the bottle! Great value for money and service!

So pleased with this product!

I've been trying to get my daughter to stop sucking for years and this product worked within 2 days! I love the fact that it does not come off with hand washing but just as it says on the pack, stays on for 2 days. Would definitely recommend.

Mavala Stop

I bought this for my 5 year old son who seemed to permanently have his thumb in his mouth if he was sat still at any point during the day and the dentist can already see the damage to his teeth/jaw. He was also biting his nails. I tried on myself first and yes it tastes awful but it has worked. The first two days he only tried to put his thumb in 3 times and after only reapplying once, has stopped completely, it's a miracle !

The jury's still out!

I really liked the idea of something we could put on our 7 year old's nails that wouldn't come off at the first wash but this isn't as good as the hype would suggest, in my opinion. It needs to be applied daily to make a difference, and our daughter is still managing to bite her nails. Having said that, we intend to persevere past these first couple of weeks so maybe patience is the key.
