TPO & HEMA Free Page 8 of 33
What is HEMA? HEMA is an ingredient frequently used in gel polishes to give them a hardened finish with a higher shine. For some people, HEMA can cause a slight allergic reaction. But not to worry, the allergic reaction only occurs when the HEMA gel polish reaches the skin and it only causes a mild irritation. HEMA-free gel polishes and acrylic powders were designed to allow everyone to be able to enjoy a perfect manicure for longer without having an allergic reaction. That is why, we have curated a range of HEMA-free gel polishes just for you! Our wide range of HEMA-free gel polishes, although lacking the ingredient, is definitely not lacking in quality! What is TPO? TPO (Triphenyl Phosphate) is a chemical compound used as a photoinitiator in gel and UV-cured nail polishes. It helps the polish harden when exposed to UV or LED light.
