Have been somewhat dubious about the benefit of these in the past. But the base coat prevented any staining and the top coat (very thick and glossy) allowed for a shiny finish and hid the imperfections that came from a streaky nail varnish.
Great base coat, no staining to the nails. Great top coat, kept my nail varnish looking good for a full week.

I've been hoping to find an affordable OPI topcoat as i feel my cheaper topcoats don't do my higher end polish manis justice. Having two full size bottles of base coat and top coat is wonderful, they are the excellent quality you expect from OPI and really help their colours pop. I've not seen any colour change either which is great as i find some bigger brands top coats do this.
These are excellent products. The base coat protects the nail and gives a smooth surface for the polish. The top coat gives the polish a brilliant sheen and really does prolong the life of the polish. I buy from Nail Polish Direct as their prices are always very good and my order is sent by return.
