Salon Professional PPE

Whether you’re based in a salon, at home, or mobile you will need to use PPE. Given the nature of the beauty industry, it is sometimes impossible to social distance and, therefore, the sector falls into a high-risk category in the Government report. Keeping your clients, staff, and yourself safe during the ‘new normal’ is likely to be one of your biggest concerns, but it doesn’t have to be a challenge. You can help prevent the spread of coronavirus in your salon or freelance business by having the right Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Salon PPE

Health, hygiene, and cleanliness are key factors when it comes to personal wellbeing, that’s why we’re on hand to create a safe haven for you and your clients. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, it is important for you and your business to protect against the spread of the virus. Sanitisers, sterilisers, masks, aprons, visors, and goggles help prevent the spread of bacteria and reduce the chance of potential infections. Disinfection sprays, floor guides, and waterproof social distancing stickers provide you with the equipment you need to prepare your salon for a safe working environment.

What PPE will beauty therapists and nail technicians need?

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is designed to protect you from health and safety risks at work. The hair and beauty industry must follow recommendations from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) by wearing visors, aprons, and for some treatments - eye protection. The BEIS guidelines state that beauty therapists and nail technicians must wear a clear face visor that covers the forehead, extends below your chin, and wraps around the side of your face. Here at Nail Polish Direct, you’ll find everything you need to adhere to the health guidelines provided, ensuring that your salon remains safe for both you and your clients.
